2017 FEBRUARY SUNSET!

Well, it seems to me that February 2017 will be one to remember!

In this winter season, robins have been sighted long before the official start of spring.

This week, in southern Ontario, the temperatures are soaring to levels that would usually occur in spring.

Even the squirrels are looking somewhat surprised by the melting snow and bare lawns.

2017 FEBRUARY SQUIRREL SURVEYING THE BACKYARD!

Yes, I do think that February 2017 will noted as an atypical winter month.

Sometimes, when asked to recall a certain year or even a decade, it might seem that it is all a Blur; however, there are some specific years or ages that stay quite clearly in my memory.

Seventeen was just such a year. This week, I was thrilled to be included in a series of posts on the theme “Me, at 17”.

If you wish, you can check it out at Haiku by Patricia McGoldrick (Me at 17 poetry and prose series)

Whether you are being mindful of the present, or thinking back to other years, have a great weekend, all! 🙂
