Like it or not, winter is a’comin’!

However, some leaves and flowers are hanging on, despite the sinking temperatures. This works for me.

Actually, not being a fan of winter, it seems quite reassuring as I look out our front door to see some colourful remnants in the garden. These little bursts of colour have inspired me to write a haiku to accompany a photo that I took this morning.Enjoy!

November Haiku

Marvellous orange
Jello bright marigolds bloom
Hope — contrast to snow
